How it works

I am in the process of making dollies to take to the children I will be meeting on the World Vision Tanzania Volunteer Trip in September 2016. I’m asking friends to ‘sponsor’ a dolly for $20.00.
The doll’s are hand made by me, some will have embroidered faces and, as we will be visiting some Muslim communities I have also been making what I hope are appropriate dolls for the Muslim children.
They not only have a heart to show we care, but proudly display a Canadian flag on the back.
How it works -
If you would like to participate by ‘sponsoring’ a dolly, or even just making a donation, you can e-transfer the money to me through your bank or donate through the PayPal button located on my blog at :http://mymissionsa.blogspot.ca/
If you wish you can let me know which type of doll you’d like and if you prefer a boy or a girl. If you would like, I can attach a small gift card where I will be able to write a short message from you to the child.
I can also email you a picture or pictures of your dolls if you wish.
Thank-you in advance or your support.

My Fund-raising T-shirt

HIV/AIDS is the greatest humanitarian crisis of all time and so many children are shattered by the loss of loved ones in communities affected by HIV and AIDS. I am fund-raising to enable myself to volunteer in South Africa with World Vision in the fall. I will also get a chance to spend a few hours with my HOPE sponsor child while fulfilling my volunteer duties.

I have designed this T-shirt to help with my fund-raising. The T-shirts are available in black, Men's small to 2X, Ladies small to xlrg, and in children's sizes small to large The cost of the T-shirts are $15.00 each.

Email me at:
my_missionsa@yahoo.com
and let me know how many and what sizes you would like as well as shipping information. To pay for the T-shirts just click on the ChipIn widget which you will find here at the end of the blog and you will be able to pay securely through PayPal.

I hope to post pictures and videos after the trip and if able, to update this blog while I am there.
Please be assured that if I am unable to fulfill my volunteer goals, any money raised through the sale of these T-shirts will be donated directly to World Vision to help them to continue to provide essentials like clean water, nutritious food, education and basic health care.

Awesome! It's great to see you raising money for saving children with AIDS in Africa. Love the t-shirt. We are doing our part as well, to prevent the transmission of AIDS/HIV from mother to child with africanunitedpartnerships.org. By the way, how well is the ChipIn widget working for you? I was thinking of trying it out.
